Description
We have designed a TV cabinet that is placed floating against the wall. This is not only useful for storing things, but it also hides the cords and sockets.
DIY: a floating, blue TV cabinet
The with the correct sides mitered. The Blue MDF has been given 3 layers of lacquer on the outside.
We then drilled and attached the hinges of the flap. To assemble the corpus, we chose to glue it with Lamello's. This had to be done accurately as all elements of the corpus were glued in one go.
Finally, all that remained was to drill in a push-open spring and the whole thing could be attached to the wall.
