Customizing your own furniture is fun, and can also be done easily with sawn sheet material ordered online. In this DIY project Ilse discusses how she made her own hanging furniture. Because she could not pass a standard piece of furniture, she decided to make this custom hanging piece of furniture herself.

I wanted hanging furniture in the hall. Due to the different dimensions, I could not place standard furniture here. That's why I decided to make it myself.

How I made this project

1. Obtained wooden slats from the hardware store and then drilled holes in them (4mm). Drilled holes on both sides so that it can be attached to the side panels and top/bottom panels.
2. The slats are attached to the wall and bottom.
3. Two slats attached to the top plate, and two wall brackets (so that it can be attached to the wall later.

6. The furniture mounted on the wall.
