Marjolein has opted for a truly unique shelving unit made of unfinished MDF, which was then treated with Cementum from Vestingh in the color Mushroom no. 287. The result is stunning!

How Marjolein made this project

For her newly built home, Marjolein designed a beautiful shelving unit. She had a number of items she wanted to display in it, so she took into account the size of the compartments in the design. She opted for the material unfinished MDF, which is an affordable type of wood that can be finished to your liking. Marjolein chose Cementum as the finish. This finish gives the shelving unit a beautiful matte appearance with a concrete look. Very original! Setting up the shelving unit was super quick! With the help of her father and daughter, the shelving unit was assembled in just half an hour. Thanks to the manual, numbered shelves, and installation kit, the task was completed in no time!
