A headboard made of MDF at the back of a box spring bed with recesses for power strips and with cable penetrations to neatly conceal the cables.

Work description: how did you project completed

As a first step, I secured both side planks and the top plank at the front using wooden blocks and screws. The front and top are mitered so that they fit neatly together. I then sawed the recesses for the power strips and holes for the cable entries. I filled small cracks with filler, then lightly sanded the whole thing and painted over the primer layer with two layers of lacquer paint.
