Description of Peter
Recently received my new electric VW ID Buzz. Very happy with it because I always like to have my stuff with me but also want to be able to easily put the dogs in it. For this I made a raised loading floor with a fully extendable drawer of 950 mm deep and 600 mm wide. Next to the drawer I created a space to put the gangway for the dogs. For the floor and the drawer I used 12 mm concrete plywood with anti-slip profile.
How I made this project
I quickly had an idea of what I needed and wanted to make. Given that the current loading floor had simple dimensions, 1200x1000mm, a sketch was not necessary and I ordered the various custom planks from TOSIZE.de. I ordered two solid 950 mm long loading rails from another webshop that can carry up to 80 kg. In the end, it only took me a few hours to assemble the kit. Finally, I mounted two sets of Bosch L-boxx mounting brackets on top and that was it.
Dimensions of my DIY project
