I replaced my old desktop with a new . The base of my "old desk" I mounted it on the new top.

Assembling an oak desktop

First of all, I measured which size I wanted to order. After I received the top, the first thing I did was remove the old top from the base. Since it is a desk from a well-known Swedish brand, confirmation was a bit of a hassle. But I eventually solved that by using hooks so that the desktop is firmly attached. Apart from that, I first sanded the new top, coated it with lacquer, sanded it again and coated it again, and finally one more time. The top is now nicely protected against dirt and looks very neat.
