With the high-quality chipboard planks from sheet material from TOSIZE.de we built a cabinet around our washing machine. The planks have a beautiful dark gray high-gloss coating and therefore fit perfectly with the wardrobe next to it. It almost seems to belong together. Super happy with it! The cabinet around the washing machine now gives the (relatively small) clothing and laundry room a much quieter appearance and the cabinet also muffles the sound that comes from the machine when it is on.

How I made this project

The shelves were ordered to size, which made it quite easy to assemble the cabinet. We then mounted the doors with piano hinges. The doors can be opened and closed using a magnetic catch. With two doors, it is easy to remove the laundry from the machine. The cabinet is built a bit more spacious around the washing machine, so that a laundry basket also fits next to it. We are very happy with it!
